Youth Recreational League |
|
Overview: |
FC Cary
has been providing a youth recreational soccer league
for over 10 years. Our focus is on the development
of young players through participation and competition.
We provide co-ed spring and fall leagues for ages 4 to
17. |
|
League Format: |
U05:
Teams play small sided games (4v4) with no goalies.
Teams have a skills session run by their coach and a
game against another U05 team each Saturday of the
season.
U06-U07:
Teams play small sided games (5v5) with no goalies.
Each team has a practice session during the week and a
game against another team in their age group on
Saturdays.
U08-U15:
Varying field sizes and game lengths depending on the
age group. Each team will have one practice during
the week and a game against another team in their age
group on Saturdays. Each game is officiated by two
league referees.
U17:
Teams play 11v11 games on full size soccer field.
Each game is officiated by at least two league referees. |

Soccer Season: |
Spring season begins in
March and ends in June.
Fall season begins in August and ends in November.
Teams practice and play in the Cary/Apex area. Our
primary location is Green Hope Elementary School which
is located in Cary. Additional fields are used in
the Cary area when available. |

League Fee: |
$75 per season (includes
team shirt). |

Registration: |
Registration form can be
downloaded from the website. The completed
registration form and registration fee can be mailed to
the address on the form. |

Advanced Soccer Program |
|
Overview: |
The Advanced Soccer
Program is a competitive soccer program providing
players with the next level of soccer development.
All teams are formed from yearly tryouts that occur in
the May/June time period. Each team practices
twice a week with matches played on Sundays.
Travel for matches within the Triangle and surrounding
areas is required. For more information about this

Next Level Academy
provides regular technical skill instruction as part of
this program. |

Classic Soccer |
|
Overview: |
Classic
soccer is the highest level of league play in North
Carolina. It is the mission of the NCYSA classic program
to provide an environment to foster play at the highest
level, age appropriate development of players who
demonstrate talent and commitment with the desire to
excel, and an appropriate level of team competition as
well as values of good sportsmanship to all who
participate. Players wishing to play at the most
competitive level possible (excluding State Select), for
an extended period of time (usually 8-10 months) play
Classic soccer. |
